Qualifications
PRN: This position is as needed and does not offer health benefits or tuition reimbursement however it does offer a 401K retirement plan.

Minimum Education Requirements:
Masters Degree in Social Work

Minimum Licensure/Certification:
Current licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Texas.

Minimum Skill Requirements:
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
1. Conduct Group Psychotherapy sessions
2. Works with other team members to resolve patient issues.
3. Communication with other care providers is timely, accurate, and complete.
4. Collaborates with team/community/client/family
in developing discharge plan.
5. Utilizes two patient identifiers before providing care.
6. Utilizes standard precautions and PPE. Utilizes hand hygiene for opportunities for clinical care.
7. Evaluates the patient's progress toward attainment of outcomes, revising the plan as indicated, per policy.
8. Perform and document cognitive, and psychosocial parameters assessments per policy.
9. Delegates procedures as appropriate to the licensure/registration, education and competence of team members. Utilized by other staff as a resource.
10. Documentation is complete, accurate and legible
11. Maintains proper credentials and state licensure.
12. Seek professional development opportunities as needed.
13. Initiate action to protect patient rights and/or preferences and promote patient desired outcomes.
14. Check unit communication weekly; attends required meetings.
15. Follow chain of command policy.
16. State process for reporting ethical and legal concerns and initiates appropriate referrals in response to ethical dilemmas.
17. Serve as resource to nursing staff, patients, visitors, and physicians.
18. Care must reflect current standard of practice and client safety.
19. Serve as a resource/mentor.
20. Evaluate client's progress and modifies or extends treatment program accordingly.
21. Prepares case history of client's personal, social and emotional development.
22. Communicates family issues to other staff members.
23. Demonstrates therapeutic interactions on an individual and group basis with consistency.
24. b. Implements/maintains/monitors/evaluates responses to restraints/seclusion/precautions/levels and searches.
25. Recommends and participate in making any changes and/or
improvements related to seclusion/restraint/precautions/levels and searches.
26. Demonstrate understanding of the voluntary and involuntary admission process.
27. Perform other duties as requested.
