Qualifications
Presbyterian Hospital of Kaufman, a member of Texas Health Resources, is currently in search of a Registered Nurse for our Pain Management Department.
As a Nurse in our Pain Management Department you will have the opportunity to advance your skills by taking exceptional care of people by coordinating and leading the patient care team in the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care in accordance with the guidelines and standards of nursing care as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act.
The Staff Nurse performs all responsibilities/duties required by the Pain Management unit or division as defined in the scope of service, to assure that the unique nature of the patient is addressed. This includes, but is not limited to, the age of the patient served. The Registered Nurse works collaboratively with the physicians in examining and treating patients as well as the coordination of patient care through regularly scheduled pain management patient conferences.
Basic Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Texas RN License
1 experience RN experience in an acute care setting
BCLS or upon hire
CPR
Critical thinking Skills
Communication Skills
Schedule/Hours: Days, hours will vary ~ No call or weekend schedule.
