Qualifications
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Kaufman, a member of Texas Health Resources, is currently in search of a Registered Nurse to help meet the needs of our patients in our Ambulatory Care Department.
Day Shift, Hours vary, No Call and No weekends.

Basic Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Texas RN License
2 years nursing experience
CPR
Critical thinking Skills
Communication Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Day Surgery experience.
Duties:
• Obtain/verify physician orders for meds and treatments and validates for appropriateness.
• Review available medical records and obtain pertinent medical history from patient or family.
• Ensure that patient has given input into plan of care
• Accurately and safely administers medications and treatments appropriate to patient
• Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, and home programs/self management
• Completes discharge summary for each patient in accordance with departmental, JCAHO, Medicare, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
