Duties 1. Works to continuously improve quality of service programs2. Maintains accurate and complete billing and accounting records3. Understands and adheres to regulations and to accreditation standards4. Maintains and enhances knowledge and skill in psychiatric treatment5. Conducts psychosocial assessments to determine patient's and family's level of functioning, to implement effective treatment, and to plan appropriate discharge disposition.6. Conducts unstructured individual, family, and group therapy as scheduled or ordered by physician to address goals indentified on patient care plan and by treatment plan7. Provides didactice group therapy as scheduled and assigned8. Adapts treatment to reflect age-specific and development considerations9. Demonstrates competency with geriatric treatment10. Demonstrates competency with cognitive behavioral therapy11. Assists and educates patient and families with identifying appropriate discharge plans12. Provides information on resources available13. Collaborates with treatment team and physician to establish and facilitate discharge plan14. Obtains discharge plan orders as indicated15. Documents discharge as appropriate for program16.
