Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates will be graduates from an accredited nursing program. Licensed in the State of Texas or Compact State or GN Permit Letter. CPR Certification required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Six months experience in acute care setting. BSN preferred.
As primary care giver, candidates for this position will have the opportunity to stay actively involved in the total care plan through patient and family education. Responsibilities will include patietn assessment, creating and maintaining a sterile and safe environment to include service as patient advocate. Initiate action to protect patient rights and/or preferences; adhere to HIPAA and staffing guidelines. Candidates will be expected to maintain and enhance nursing skills. This position requires basic computer knowledge, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Duties
This will be the perfect position for the applicant wanting to be in a small town in East Texas. Winnsboro is known for it's Autumn Trails and Spring Trails activities.
This position will give the applicant chosen to make a difference in the care of patients and their families. Also the opportunity to work with excellent co-workers and physicians.
Shift available: 7:00am-7:00pm rotating schedule. Some weekends required.
