Campus Expansion

Texas Health Azle expansion projectTexas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle has begun a project to expand its campus and outpatient services to provide more options for Northwest Tarrant and Parker counties. Construction is underway on a new 5,000 square-foot building dedicated to community education classes and new expanded outpatient services.

The project also includes 70 additional parking spaces to make the hospital more accessible to the community. The hospital's auxiliary is funding a new meditation garden for patients, families and employees.

"We are committed to investing in the Azle community and growing our scope of services," said Texas Health Azle President Winjie Tang Miao. "In 2008, we added several new services including pain management, digital mammography, pulmonology and Lamaze classes. With the addition of our Education and Outpatient Center, we will also offer community education classes and a sleep lab."
