Title   A Comparison of Contrast Material-Enhanced Breast Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Breast Tomosynthesis (BT) in Women Who Are at High Risk for Breast Cancer
Description   The purpose of this study is to compare contrast material enchanced MRI and breast Tomosynthesis in women who are at high risk for breast cancer. All women participating in the study will undergo both MRI and tomosynthesis exams.

Inclusion/Exclusion   INCLUSION:
  • Patients must be at high-risk for breast cancer defined by:
    - BRCA1 or BRCA2 carrier
    - Carrier of unknown mutational defect but with first-degree family member who carries BRCA1 or BRCA2
    - Strong family history of breast or ovarian cancer
    - Personal history of breast cancer
    - Radiation to chest between age 10 & 30 years

  • Patients must have a glomerular filtration rate exceeding 30.

EXCLUSION:
  • Patients who have known contraindication to MRI usage.

  • Pregnant women.
