ALLEN, Texas - Presbyterian Hospital of Allen (PHA) has donated $20,000 to support SpringFest 2008, a major fund-raising event for Allen Community Outreach. The donation was made by PHA for the eighth consecutive year. PHA President Sheila McKinney presented a check to Judy Webster, Allen Community Outreach assistant executive director, at the hospital last week.

"Presbyterian Hospital of Allen is proud to continue to support Allen Community Outreach," McKinney said. "Its mission to provide basic necessities, specialized programs and independent living skills to improve the quality of life for individuals in our area is one we share. Its many programs, including Meals-on-Wheels & More Program, benefit families in need and make a positive impact in our community."

SpringFest 2008 is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, in downtown Allen. Festivities begin at 8 a.m. with the Martha Janes Memorial 1-Mile Walk, followed by the 5K FunRun at 8:30 a.m. To pre-register, please visit http://www.acocares.org/ or call 972-727-9131.
