 The goal of the Cancer Resource Library is to provide information to help patients and families make informed decisions during difficult times. The library offers access to current and accurate information about cancer prevention, treatment and support. A nurse/librarian and volunteers are on hand to assist visitors. Books and videotapes may be used in the library or borrowed. Individualized packets of information are mailed upon request.
The Cancer Resource Library, an American Cancer Society Information Center, is open to the public. All services are free of charge. Library hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or by appointment.

Finding Reliable Information
The Internet offers access to many valuable sources of information. However, not all sources provide current, accurate or complete information. We encourage you to carefully evaluate the information you retrieve from online. The Consumer and Patient Health Information Section of the Medical Library Association maintains a list of the Top 100 health Web sites and provides guidelines to assist you in evaluating the quality of health information on the Internet.
