Participants enter their actual measured Resting Metabolic Rate for precise and personalized menu plans designed by registered dieticians. The plans provide caloric levels and macro and micronutrients consistent with ADA guidelines and recommendations.

All information is delivered online. ENERGYsmart clients can log their nutrition and exercise activity, print meal plans and grocery lists, make food exchanges, and track progress against their goals.

N.E.A.T. Program®
You don't have to go through breast cancer alone. The N.E.A.T. Program® is here for you.

The N.E.A.T. Program stands for Nutrition, Exercise and Attitudes for Tomorrow. Sponsored by the Texas Chrysalis Foundation, it is a multi-focused program designed to help you cope with the effects of breast cancer.

In partnership with the Texas Chrysalis Foundation, the Fitness Center offers The N.E.A.T. Program® breast cancer recovery exercise program. The program includes stretching, cardiovascular and strength training exercises. All classes are led by trained fitness experts and are tailored to each person's needs.

The N.E.A.T. Program® is free to participants and does not require Fitness Center membership. Each new participant receives a one-on-one appointment with a fitness expert to provide orientation, establish goals and collect medical history and contact information. Registration and a physician release are required prior to participation.

Personal Training
Personal training provides a unique experience in strength and cardiovascular training through individual instruction or small group instruction. The trainer works with each individual to assess needs, determine goals and develop a customized program for the client.

Supervised Membership
A new level of membership for the individual who wants or requires additional staff supervision and exercise monitoring for reasons of increased medical risk. Those factors include obesity, family history of cardiovascular risk, diabetes, special orthopedic conditions, hyperlipidemia and pulmonary disease.

Supervised membership is ideal for people who have completed one of the hospital's outpatient rehabilitation programs, or for an individual desiring group supported exercise instruction.

Massage Therapy
Basic and specific therapies, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point and on-site chair and table massages, are available by appointment. Massages are performed by a registered massage therapist and can be purchased in a number of intervals.

Education Classes
Education classes are offered free to members every Friday. These classes concentrate on exercise and other important aspects of daily living such as good nutrition, healthy eating habits, weight control, smoking cessation, cholesterol and stress management. For a monthly schedule, call 817-267-9191.

Health tests are offered for an additional fee, unless noted otherwise.
