Debbie Paganelli, FACHE
Paganelli joined Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford as its president in June 2007. Previously, Paganelli served as president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville.

Since joining Texas Health HEB, Paganelli oversaw the hospital's recognition as a "Baby-Friendly hospital," the second in the state of Texas. Additionally, the hospital has expanded the outreach of its mental health facility, Texas Health Springwood. Satellite clinics have opened in Allen, southwest Fort Worth, Southlake and Arlington. Texas Health Springwood also expanded the adolescent unit and developed a women's oncology program to help women dealing with cancer.

Under her leadership at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville, the hospital received many honors and recognitions. Texas Health Stephenville was the first hospital in the Texas Health Resources system to be designated as a Nurse-Friendly Hospital by the Texas Nurses Association. Texas Health Stephenville was designated as a Level IV Trauma Center and received the Premier Quality Award of Excellence for Maternal Newborn during her three-year tenure.

In addition to honors and recognitions, Texas Health Stephenville saw many changes under Paganelli's leadership. The laboratory doubled in size and two new service lines were added in 2006 — Community Outreach and Center for Wound Care. The radiology department also began its expansion project to increase space and technology.

Paganelli earned a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Texas in Austin and a master's degree in healthcare administration from Texas Woman's University. She is a diplomate with the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Prior to joining Texas Health Resources, Paganelli served as chief operating officer of Alice Regional Hospital and vice president of Memorial Medical Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Paganelli serves as a member of the HEB Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee, the Board of Directors for the HEBISD Education Foundation and the Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce. She also serves on various committees and task groups within Texas Health including chairing a successful systemwide Food Drive in 2008.

Michael Duran, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Duran serves as the chief of medical staff at Texas Health HEB. In his position as chief, Duran also serves as a member of the hospital's Board of Trustees.

A former staff physician for the U.S. Congress, Duran is board-certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty of cardiovascular disease and an added qualification in interventional cardiology. He is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Duran received his bachelor of arts from Brown University in Rhode Island in 1974 and earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in New York City in 1978. He completed his internship, residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.

Duran is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Texas Medical Association and the Tarrant County Medical Society.
