Joseph DeLeon Vice President of Ambulatory and Support Services and Business Development DeLeon is the vice president of ambulatory and support services and business development at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth. He is the executive liaison responsible for operation of the Executive Health Program and the Harris Methodist Heart Center (HMHC).
DeLeon began his career in health care management at Baptist Health System in San Antonio. He also held executive positions at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan, Texas, and at the Heart and Vascular Center at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Va., before taking his leadership position at HMFW. DeLeon also served as a lieutenant in the United States Army Medical Service Corps and as a captain in the United States Air Force Medical Service Corps.
DeLeon earned a bachelor's degree in political science in and a master's degree in public administration, with an emphasis in health systems administration, from Texas A&M University.
DeLeon is a fellow of the Cardiovascular Health Fellowship, Health Forum (American Hospital Association). He currently serves as an associate with the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American College of Cardiovascular Administrators.
Rebecca D. Tucker Director of Ambulatory Clinics and Physician Services Tucker oversees the Executive Health Program and Assisted Reproductive Technology Service (ARTS) at Texas Health Fort Worth as well as Texas Health Harris Methodist Saginaw Hometown Healthcare and Texas Health Harris Methodist Keller Hometown Healthcare.
Prior to joining Texas Health Fort Worth, Tucker worked in the medical staff affairs office of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano.
Tucker earned a bachelor's in kinesiology and a minor in biological science at the University of Texas. She received master's degrees in health care administration and business administration at Texas Woman's University.
Tucker is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Women's Chamber of Commerce of Texas and is an active participant in the Chamber of Commerce in both Keller and Saginaw.
Robert Machos, M.D. Medical Director Machos serves as the medical director of the Executive Health Program as well as for Texas Health Fort Worth Cardiac Rehabilitation, a position he has held for 15 years. Dr. Machos is also a primary care physician for the Medical Clinics of North Texas.
Machos graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor's degree in biology. He went on to receive his doctorate in medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. His internal medicine residency was completed at the University of Florida Affiliated Hospitals in Gainesville, Fla.
Machos is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the Tarrant County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, American Society of Internal Medicine and American College of Physicians. He was named a 2007 Top Doc by Fort Worth, Texas magazine and a 2008 Super Doc by Texas Monthly magazine.
Carla A.K. Castañeda, M.D. Medical Staff/Executive Health Program Physician Castañeda serves on the medical staff of the Executive Health Program. Her duties include conducting physical examinations, exercise stress tests and counseling executives in the Fort Worth area.
Prior to joining Texas Health Fort Worth, Dr. Castañeda served as an assistant professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and at John Peter Smith Health Network at the Viola Pitts/Como Clinic in Fort Worth. Dr. Castaneda was also an assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine in the Department of Community Medicine in Houston.
Castañeda graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology from Hardin-Simmons University and went on to receive a medical degree at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Texas-Houston Medical School. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the Texas Medical Association and Tarrant County Medical Society.
Amy Goodson, M.S., R.D., C.S.S.D., L.D. Registered Dietitian Goodson received a bachelor's degree in speech communications from Texas Christian University in 2003 and earned master's degree in exercise and sports nutrition from Texas Woman's University in 2006 while also obtaining her registration and license to become a registered dietitian. She is also a board certified specialist in sports dietetics.
Goodson's internship included clinical experience and work in sports nutrition with the dietitian of the Houston Texans. She then became a dietitian for Lifetime Fitness and a local Velocity Sports Performance Center.
As a member of the Executive Health Program team, she provides individual nutrition counseling for executives in annual physicals and other nutrition packages. In addition, Goodson is the sports dietitian for our own Ben Hogan Sports Therapy Institute and TCU athletics. She serves as the nutrition media spokesperson for Texas Health Fort Worth and speaks to community groups and high school athletes. Goodson is a member of the American Dietetic Association, Texas Dietetic Association, and SCAN (Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutritionists).
Anita Segars, R.N. Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinical Service Coordinator Segars is responsible for assisting with the Executive Health Program's consultations, patient education and developing patient care plans.
Segars worked as a nurse in the critical care unit and acute ICU at Texas Health Fort Worth from 1990 to 1998.
She later served as a nurse in outpatient cardiac rehabilitation until she was promoted to her current position as clinical service coordinator.
Segars earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1991.
Jennifer Hooks Campbell Exercise Physiologist Campbell has served as the Executive Health Program's exercise physiologist since 1998. Campbell is responsible for assisting with patient consultations which include performing stress, hearing and pulmonary function tests.
Campbell is also an exercise physiologist in the Cardiac Rehabilitation department, where she designs exercise programs for cardiac patients.
Campbell's additional responsibilities include leading group exercise classes in the Harris Fitness Center.
Campbell graduated from Texas Christian University with a bachelor's degree in fitness promotion and a master's degree in exercise physiology.
Tammy Gouyton, ARRT (R) (CT) Radiology Technologist Gouyton has served as the Executive Health Program's radiology technologist since 2003. She is responsible for body imaging screenings and angiographic imaging for outpatient radiology.
Prior to joining the Executive Health Program team, Gouyton worked in inpatient, outpatient and emergency room body imaging at Texas Health Fort Worth and performed biopsies.
Gouyton was promoted to the position of CAT scan team leader in 2000. She graduated from the Tarrant County Radiological Program in 1997.
Clint Sanders Business Relationship Specialist Sanders is responsible for ensuring all Executive Health business needs are met and that participants come away from the program with a positive experience.
Sanders earned a bachelor's degree in communication studies at Texas Christian University and has been with our parent company, Texas Health Resources since 2007.
Before coming to the program, Sanders worked in the Internet Marketing department for Texas Health and in the Community Development department at Texas Health Fort Worth.
Sanders is a Fort Worth native and has a strong tie to Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital — it's where he was born.
Avis Vinnett Administrative Assistant Vinnett assists with patient scheduling and registration, along with invoicing. Vinnett worked as an administrative assistant in the hospitals Admissions Department for a year before joining the Executive Health Program.
She is also a member of Team CARE, a group of Texas Health Harris Methodist employees who volunteer their time to help serve the surrounding communities and with hospital wide events.
