Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle expanded its campus and outpatient services in 2010 to provide more options for Northwest Tarrant and Parker counties. The centerpiece is a new 5,000 square-foot building dedicated to community education classes and expanded outpatient services.
The project also includes 70 additional parking spaces to make the hospital more accessible to the community. The hospital's auxilary also funded a new meditation garden for patients, families and employees.
Texas Health Azle is committed to investing in the Azle community and growing our scope of services. In 2008, several new services were added, including pain management, digital mammography, pulmonology and Lamaze classes. With the addition of the Education and Outpatient Center, we also offer community education classes and a sleep lab.
The Health & Education Center is designed to provide outpatient services, support groups, medical screenings, educational classes and more. It's just one part of our ongoing commitment to bringing nationally recognized health care to Azle and our surrounding communities.
