The goal of the chemical dependency intensive outpatient program is to address the physical, emotional, spiritual, and interpersonal needs of recovering individuals to help them regain control of their lives.
This program is optimal for the working professional, as well as, those with a flexible schedule, as both day and evening programs are available. The program provides assessment and ongoing care management for those who may also have underlying or previously undiagnosed mood disorders. Program coordinators work closely with an addictionologist in addressing the medical component of addiction.
Advanced medication management and evidence-based procedures are utilized in understanding and treating the addicted brain. The program is committed to helping patients understand and learn specific skills to cope with the factors that trigger cravings and lead to relapse. The wisdom of 12-step recovery is used to encourage spiritual growth and peer support.

Program Schedule
The chemical dependency intensive outpatient program consists of daily sessions that meet weekdays or evenings for approximately four to six consecutive weeks.
- Day program - 9 a.m. to noon
- Evening program - 6 to 9 p.m. This option is optimal for the working individual.
- Aftercare - 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday
Individual needs are taken into consideration. Sessions are provided in an environment where laughter is common. While taking your disease seriously, the program will help you learn to not take yourself too seriously.
