The Harris Health Exchange was established in 1989 by the Texas Health Harris Methodist Foundation to bring together young business leaders and educate them on health care topics and services available at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.
Smart and Healthy In order to educate and inform the members of Health Exchange, the Foundation provides quarterly meetings that feature a health care topic presented by a physician. Members are given a behind-the-scenes glimpse into high-tech procedures and hospital tours.
Our goal is to provide information on the hospital's services and facilities so that future generations will be more aware of the breadth of health care services provided in our community.
Personal Growth Members of the Harris Health Exchange have an opportunity to network with other business professionals in the community and build a relationship with the Foundation staff. Many members go on to become involved with the following volunteer groups as a result of their association with the Harris Health Exchange:
- Foundation Board of Trustees
- Hospital Board of Trustees
- Leadership Council
- Kupferle Health Board
