Internationally known spine surgeon Isador Lieberman, M.D., serves as the medical director of the Scoliosis & Spine Tumor Center at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano. A physician with a reputation for excellence and a kind and compassionate bedside manner, Lieberman is a fellowship-trained orthopedic and spine surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Lieberman joined Texas Health Plano from Cleveland Clinic Florida, where he served as the chair of the hospital's Medical, Interventional and Surgical Spine Center.
Lieberman is recognized nationally and internationally for his contributions to minimally invasive/endoscopic spinal surgery and for his contributions to the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures. Through research, clinical trials and surgical innovation, he has been instrumental in advancing the use of minimally invasive spinal surgery techniques to treat scoliosis, herniated discs, lumbar degenerative disorders and osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures.

Lieberman has produced more than 65 peer-reviewed publications and has more than 50 book chapters to his credit. He has presented more than 150 invited lectures at universities, hospitals, and national and international meetings.
Lieberman is also recognized nationally and internationally for his contributions to continuing medical education, teaching medical students and residents, and training clinical and research spine fellows. He has chaired more than 40 hands-on training courses teaching minimally invasive spinal surgical techniques to more than 500 surgeons.
