Our Mission
The mission of Texas Health Springwood Center Arlington is to improve the mental health of the women in the communities we serve.
The Springwood Center offers an intensive outpatient program for women. Patients can be referred to the center by a physician, therapist, EAP counselor, or through self-referral.
Our Program
The center offers a program geared to address the treatment of depression in women, including postpartum depression, loss of a child (including miscarriage) and hormone-related depression. A counselor will work with the patient, the patient's family members and the patient's referral source, such as physician and/or therapist, to achieve individualized treatment goals. This program is approximately three hours a day and has been designed to balance treatment requirements with work, education and home-life schedules.
