The job of Work Trax in the Industrial Rehabilitation Department is to get people back to work. When an injury or illness derails a person's ability to work, a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation is the key to restoring productivity.
Work Trax offers a variety of services that not only help people get back to work but are also designed to help prevent injury. Workers and employers can benefit from the program's preventative services, in the following ways:
- Pre-employment job screenings
- Work injury prevention education
- Functional Capacity Evaluations
- Job site analysis
- Work Hardening and Work Conditioning
Many things can sidetrack a person's successful return-to-work plan, such as decreased strength, endurance and stamina, work readjustment issues and ongoing pain. Work Trax addresses such issues to achieve the best possible outcome for each individual.
