Our Programs for Adolescents The Texas Health Springwood programs for adolescents were created to address the growing needs of behavioral and mental health care for adolescents ages 13 to 17. Patients can be referred to a program by a physician, therapist, Employee Assistance Program, counselor, or through self-referral.
Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Services Texas Health Springwood Hospital has an Adolescent Inpatient Unit offering acute crisis stabilization for adolescents ages 13 to 17. The goal of the Adolescent Inpatient Unit is crisis stabilization and symptom reduction in a safe, structured environment.
Adolescent Psychiatric Partial Hospital Program The Adolescent Psychiatric Partial Hospital Program is an all-day outpatient program for patients who do not require inpatient services or for patients who transition to this level of care from inpatient.
Adolescent Psychiatric Intensive Outpatient Program The Adolescent Psychiatric Intensive Outpatient Program is an after-school program designed to balance treatment requirements with the patient's educational needs. It provides a safe, structured environment in which the adolescent can improve or regain coping skills to better meet the demands of family, school and society.
Patient Referrals Texas Health Springwood Hospital and Texas Health Springwood Centers offer evaluations and assessment services free of charge. Patients in crisis may be sent directly from your office. Patients can walk in any time Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Patients can also make a scheduled appointment by calling any of our Springwood locations.
