Volunteer Program
Volunteers at Texas Health Allen are dedicated men and women, teens through seniors, from all kinds of backgrounds who share a common desire to help others. Volunteers typically sign up for one four-hour shift each week and agree to an initial six-month commitment.

There are many benefits to becoming a volunteer. In addition to helping others, volunteers have the opportunity to meet new friends, learn new skills, gain new insights and achieve a sense of accomplishment.

A complimentary meal is also provided to volunteers while working at the hospital and volunteer achievements are recognized twice a year with an awards dinner or luncheon.
