The Rehabilitation Services staff is committed to helping patients regain the highest possible level of independence. The staff includes numerous physical therapists, occupational therapists and technicians all working together to help patients reach their goals.

Tracy Payne Martinez

Tracy Payne Martinez, PT, MS, HCA Director of Rehabilitation Services
Martinez, who was named to the director's post in May 2008, is responsible for daily operations, customer satisfaction, staff development and the growth and development of the rehabilitation services department. She also continues her clinical experience by caring for patients in the clinic and in hospital settings.
Prior to her arrival at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth, Martinez managed the physical therapy department at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital. She monitored staff development, daily operations and departmental performance. She joined Texas Health Arlington Memorial in 1999 as a staff physical therapist and was promoted to senior physical therapist in 2002.
At Texas Health Arlington Memorial, she treated patients in a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient and acute care. She specialized in orthopedics, wound care and women's health physical therapy, the latter of which she helped implement.
Martinez received her undergraduate physical therapy degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Allied Health Science School in 1999. She received a master's degree in health care administration from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2007.
At Texas Health Southwest, Martinez is involved in several hospital performance improvement committees. Her most recent accomplishments include marketing and expansion of a Women's Health clinical specialty area and receiving her LEAN Yellow Belt Certification for process improvement initiatives.

Patrick Carnathan

Patrick Carnathan, PT, DPT Physical Therapist
Carnathan holds a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Harding University and a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Central Arkansas. He was awaded the 2006 Student Clinician of the Year Award from the Arkansas Physical Therapy Association.
Most of his experience is in the outpatient physical therapy setting treating orthopedic and geriatric patient populations. He is working on advanced training for treatment of vestibular and balance rehabilitation.

Sheree Dugdale

Sheree Dugdale, CLT Physical Therapist Assistant
Dugdale holds an associate's degree from Tarrant County College and has been a certified lymphedema therapist since 2007. She currently works in acute care, treating post-op knee, back and hip patients.
She is also an adjunct faculty member at Tarrant County College, where she teaches in the physical therapy assistant program.

Mindy Manley

Mindy Manley Senior Therapy Technician
Manley holds a bachelor of science degree from Texas Woman's University and has experience in a number of clinics. She has assisted a variety of patients, from adolescent to geriatric patients.
She has also assisted with therapy on athletes at a sport specialty clinic. She plans to pursue an advanced degree in physical therapy.

Irene Saad

Irene Saad, PT, DPT Physical Therapist
Saad holds a doctorate in physical therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions and a master's degree in physical therapy from Nova Southeastern University.
She is working on her certification for Orthopedic Clinical Specialty. Most of her experience is in orthopedic physical therapy, but she also has worked in oncology and acute care physical therapy.

Tracey Valdivieso, MS, PT Senior Physical Therapist
Valdivieso holds a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Miami.
Most of her experience is in acute care. She has worked at Texas Health Southwest Fort Worth since moving to Texas from Florida.
