Texas Health Seay Behavioral Health Center programs for adolescents were created to address the growing needs of behavioral and mental health care for patients ages 12 to 17. Patients can be referred to a program by a physician, therapist, Employee Assistance Program, counselor, or through self-referral.

Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Services

The adolescent inpatient unit offers acute crisis stabilization for patients. Goals include crisis stabilization and symptom reduction in a safe, structured environment.

Adolescent Psychiatric Partial Hospital Program

This all-day outpatient program is for patients who do not require inpatient services or who transition to this level of care from the inpatient unit.

Adolescent Addiction Treatment Intensive Outpatient Program

This is an after-school program designed to balance treatment requirements with the patient's educational needs. It provides a safe, structured environment in which the adolescent can improve or regain coping skills to better meet the demands of family, school and society while learning to maintain sobriety.

Patient Referrals

Texas Health Seay Center and its outpatient center offer evaluations and assessment services free of charge. Patients in crisis may be sent directly from a physician's office. Patients can walk in any time Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patients can also make an appointment at 972-981-8300.

Adolescent services are offered at Texas Health Seay Behavioral Health Center and Texas Health Seay Center Frisco.
