Assisted reproduction should begin only when a couple is physically and emotionally ready, so the first step is to determine whether ARTS is appropriate for you.

• A medical staff physician experienced in the management of infertility who is associated with the ARTS program will consult with you.
• A medical staff physician will review your medical history and prior fertility evaluations and treatments by physicians.
• Physical examinations of both partners' reproductive systems may also be performed.
