We offer a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services for infants, children and adolescents. The 22-bed unit features all private rooms that are decorated to reflect a child's imagination. The rooms are brightly decorated with fanciful wall murals and unique furnishings, all to make your child feel special, comfortable and at home.

Texas Health Plano's inpatient pediatric unit offers a pediatric hospitalist program ensuring that pediatric hospitalists, or pediatricians who specialize in administering care within a hospital, are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so there is always a doctor on hand.

Hospitalized children may experience fear, anxiety and separation from loved ones. Texas Health Plano has a Child Life Specialist available to ease the stress and anxiety through therapeutic activities, education and support. The specialist's goal is to develop a trusting, personal relationship with each hospitalized child to help them with their coping abilities.

Five Star Dining, the hospital's room service concept which is modeled after hotel-style room service is also available. This service allows patients to choose when and what they eat. Each meal is specially prepared to order and delivered by an ambassador within 45 minutes.
