Volunteers at the Joint Replacement Program play a vital role in helping our patients get back on their feet and get back to their lives. Volunteers take an active role with patients, serving as personal coaches during group therapy sessions. Coaches provide support, encouragement and practical care during these sessions.
In addition, volunteers prepare the room for therapy sessions, help serve group lunches and bring patients in their rolling recliners to the sessions. Serving at the Joint Replacement Program is an opportunity to make a difference in a patient's progress and attitude as they recover from surgery.
