Physicians on the medical staff of the Joint Replacement Program at Texas Health Presbyterian Hosptial Plano include:

John Barrington, M.D. 
Barrington is an orthopedic surgeon on the medical staff at Texas Health Plano and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Barrington's practice includes hip and knee replacement surgery, along with some minimally invasive surgery. Barrington completed his residency at the University of North Carolina and a joint fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Roger H. Emerson Jr., M.D. 
Emerson, an orthopedic surgeon on the medical staff at Texas Health Plano, is the medical director for the Joint Replacement Program. Emerson is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is an associate professor of orthopedics at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. His surgical specialties include total and partial knee replacement and total hip replacement. Emerson received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and earned his medical degree from Yale Medical School. He studied orthopedics at Harvard and completed his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he served as chief resident. Emerson completed a fellowship in reconstructive surgery at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.

Craig W. Goodhart, M.D.  
Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Goodhart is an orthopedic surgeon on the medical staff at Texas Health Plano. His practice includes sports medicine, complex joint replacement, reconstruction of the shoulder and knee specializing in the use of an arthroscope and general orthopedic surgery. After graduating from Colgate University, Goodhart earned his medical degree at Ohio State University. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Ohio State, where he was chief resident and won several research awards. Goodhart completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Oklahoma.

Phillip M. Graehl, M.D.
Graehl, orthopedic surgeon on the medical staff at Texas Health Plano, practices hip and knee replacement surgery, hip and knee reconstruction and sports medicine. Graehl is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Graehl received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and earned his medical degree at the University of California in Irvine, Calif. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Graehl went on to complete fellowships in joint reconstruction in San Antonio and sports medicine and knee reconstruction in North Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

John M. Hillyard, M.D. 
Hillyard, orthopedic surgeon on the medical staff at Texas Health Plano, is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. His surgical specialties include total and partial knee replacement and total hip replacement. Hillyard graduated with honors from the University of Utah and earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic training in San Francisco and completed a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.

Richard D. Reitman, M.D.
Reitman is an orthopedic surgeon on the medical staff at Texas Health Plano who specializes in total joint replacement surgery, including hip, knee, shoulder and ankle. Reitman is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Reitman studied orthopedic surgery at the Harvard University orthopedic surgery program. He then completed a fellowship in joint replacement surgery at Brigham and Women's at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Glenn S. Wheeless, M.D.
Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Wheeless is an orthopedic surgeon on the medical staff at Texas Health Plano. Wheeless' practice includes surgery of the knee, hip and shoulder, as well as general orthopedic surgery, sports medicine and joint replacement. Wheeless is a graduate of Texas A&M University. He earned his medical degree at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss.
