“Our nurses work tirelessly each day to care for our patients,” said Cindy Plonien, chief nurse executive at Texas Health Cleburne. “We are thrilled to have earned this designation and appreciate the support and feedback from our nurses to make our hospital a place they enjoy working at each day.”
To achieve the Pathway to Excellence® designation hospitals must create an environment that supports nurses. Efforts to improve the quality of care provided to patients also are reviewed as are the hospital’s practices, policies and culture. Nurses at the hospital completed a survey discussing their satisfaction with Texas Health Cleburne and identifying it as a best place to work.
“At Texas Health Cleburne we have a commitment to providing the best working environment possible to all our employees and to the physicians on the medical staff,” said Blake Kretz, FACHE, hospital president. “We appreciate that our nurses took the time to share their thoughts with the American Nurses Credentialing Center and we are thrilled that the organization has recognized our efforts.”
