Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano Names New Director of Plant Operations

PLANO, Texas — Mark Anderson has been named director plant operations at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano. Anderson, a 30-year industry veteran, joins Texas Health Plano from Texas Health Denton, where he served as director plant operations/safety officer.

In his new role, Anderson will be responsible for plant operations, environmental services, and safety/security.

“Mark brings a wealth of experience to bear in his new role here at Texas Health Plano,” said Dr. Jeffrey Canose, hospital president. “We are thrilled to have him on board.”

Anderson said he joined Texas Health Plano because of its reputation for excellence.

“Texas Health Plano has a reputation of quality care and teamwork and I wanted to be a part of that team,” Anderson said.

Anderson brings extensive experience in the healthcare field to his new position at Texas Health Plano, having worked previously for multiple other healthcare systems including Tenet, Triad, Hospital Corporation of America, and East Texas Regional.

Anderson is a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager and a member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers and the National Fire Protection Association. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Technology from The University of Texas at Tyler.
