Men’s Health Event at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne to Feature Free Lunch, Flu Shots
10/19/2011

CLEBURNE, Texas — Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne will offer its first lunch discussion on men’s health, funded by the Black & White Gala and Friends of Texas Health Cleburne. It will be held at Cleburne Golf Links from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28. The free lunch event will feature Dr. Mike White, who will discuss “Links to Good Health.” Flu shots will also be available for $20.

“We wanted to offer men a unique opportunity to get information about their health,” said Sundi Forsythe, outreach coordinator for the Black & White Gala. “By offering a discussion on men’s health and a delicious lunch, we felt we could reach out to men in our community to help them improve their health.”

The Black & White Gala and Friends of Texas Health Cleburne sponsor health education programs such as the annual Pink Bag Lunch & Women’s Health Forum, “Mammograms are a Must!,” “Shots for Tots,” and “Know Your PSA.”
