Scoggins is no stranger to cardiovascular services. He is a Registered Cardio Invasive Specialist with 16 years of cardiovascular staff and management experience. He recently graduated from the Baptist School of Health Professions in San Antonio and received his Texas R.N. license in May.

“I am passionate about health care,” Scoggins said. “I love being a part of a health care team which makes a conscious effort to provide quality care to each patient as though the patient is our own mother, father, sister or brother. It is a privilege.”

Texas Health Plano’s cardiovascular service line offers operating suites dedicated to heart and vascular surgery, cardiac catheterization lab, surgical procedures, and a vascular screening program. The hospital also offers advanced technology such as CV Airstrip, which enables physicians to see an EKG real time on a mobile device. Texas Health Plano has been accredited as a Cycle III Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers after meeting criteria in diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart disease.

“We are pleased that Jeff has joined Texas Health Plano,” said Dr. Jeffrey Canose, FACHE, hospital president. “Cardiovascular care is a key area for Texas Health Plano and we are pleased to have someone with his background working on behalf of our patients.”
