Allen Americans Deliver Holiday Stuffed Animal Donations to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen 12/13/2011
ALLEN, Texas — Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen recently got a visit from Santa and his hockey playing elves. The Allen Americans stopped by the hospital to donate stuffed animals collected at a teddy bear toss event at recent game.
“We are thrilled that the Allen Americans chose our hospital to donate stuffed animals to this year,” said Sarah Mitchell, Texas Health Allen’s community outreach manager. “Most people do not want to be in the hospital, but by being able to hand out the bears we were able to put a smile on the faces of our patients of all ages. From young children to the elderly everyone’s face lit up at the small surprise and the visit from the players. We appreciate the support of the community.”
