Community Celebration Offers First Look at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance|
FORT WORTH, Texas — North Fort Worth residents are invited to enjoy a free community celebration and preview of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance, Texas Health Resources’ newest full-service hospital, from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15. The hospital’s opening day is planned for Sept. 19.
Event offerings will include:
- Guided hospital tours
- Technology demonstrations
- Bone density screenings and blood pressure checks
- Car seat safety education and demonstrations
- Physician booths
- Live, local entertainment from community groups and schools
- Activities for children including a miniature train to ride, bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, balloon artists, face painting, crafts, caricature artists, a photo booth
- Healthy snacks and chef-prepared creations from the hospital café
“This facility is truly built by the community, for the community,” said Winjie Tang Miao, president of Texas Health Alliance. “We have brought best practices from across the Texas Health system and the country to this hospital in order to deliver the health care this community deserves.”
