Texas Health Southwest Fort Worth Hosts Lecture on 'The Multi-tasking Woman'|
FORT WORTH, Texas — Emily J. Kirby, M.D., will speak on “The Multi-tasking Woman” at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at Mira Vista County Club, 6600 Mira Vista Blvd., Fort Worth.
Kirby is a fellowship-trained plastic surgeon and a member of the medical staff at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth. Her lecture will focus on the importance of busy women making time to care for their own health.
Kirby’s talk is part of the hospital's Advances in Medicine lecture series, which is a collaboration between Texas Health Resources and the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women's Health. The goal of the series is to help women become advocates for their health by providing them with programs covering the latest information on research, procedures, wellness and prevention.
