Texas Health Partners Wins Distinctive Workplace Award®|
ARLINGTON, Texas — Texas Health Partners, a company owned by Texas Health Resources, has been selected as a recipient of the 2012 Distinctive Workplace Award® from Press Ganey Associates, Inc., a national health care performance improvement organization.
Texas Health Partners is one of only 10 Press Ganey clients in the nation to receive the prestigious honor in 2012. The award recognizes client organizations that have reached and sustained the 95th percentile in employee satisfaction scores for two consecutive reporting periods.
“This is a great honor that recognizes our employees for their commitment to working together to support our caregivers in providing quality health care,” said Krystal Mims, senior vice president of care continuum and collaborations for Texas Health Resources. “Our employees’ high satisfaction and loyalty help Texas Health fulfill our mission of improving the health of the people in the communities we serve.”
Texas Health Partners was recognized for employee initiatives including pay-for-performance, in which base compensation, incentives and bonus programs are tied to the organization’s strategic goals. Texas Health Partners also encourages individualized employee recognition on a variety of levels and hosts events throughout the year designed to recognize special achievements.
Mims said that employee feedback indicates a strong sense of loyalty, which is reflected in recruitment and retention. Not only do employees choose to stay with Texas Health Partners (with a retention rate exceeding 90 percent), they refer friends and family to open positions. Currently 54 percent of Texas Health Partners new hires come from employee referrals.
“Being the best means having the best,” said Mims. “Texas Health Partners takes pride in fostering a workplace where employees are mentored, recognized and feel that the work they do is meaningful and appreciated.”
