Spring Into Action at Annual Texas Health Kaufman 5K Fun Run 02/21/2013
KAUFMAN, Texas — Put on your running shoes and join the staff of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman for the 5K Fun Run and Walk on Saturday, March 23. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by a short warm up and 9 a.m. start.
All proceeds benefit Texas Health Kaufman’s Child Automobile Safety initiative, which provides car seat safety checks for Kaufman County families in addition to travel safety tips for parents. Free car seats are given to parents whose seats do not meet national safety guidelines.
“We invite the community to come out and enjoy a fun-filled morning with family and friends while supporting an important program,” said Patsy Youngs, president of Texas Health Kaufman.
The fun run begins and ends at Texas Health Kaufman, 850 Ed Hall Drive, and is open to all ages with awards presented in each age category.
