34 THR Nurses Named to Texas Nurses Association ‘Great 100’ List 05/01/2006
ARLINGTON, Texas – The Texas Nurses Association named 34 nurses on staff at Texas Health Resources hospitals to its annual list of “Great 100 Nurses.” The THR total represented more than twice as many nurses as any other Metroplex hospital system. Nurses greatly contribute to patient satisfaction.
The nurses are selected from registered nurses who are considered role models and who make a significant difference in nursing, their hospital and the lives of patients, peers and their community, according to the nursing association.
The THR hospitals represented include Arlington Memorial Hospital, Harris Methodist Erath County Hospital, Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital, Harris Methodist HEB Hospital, Harris Methodist Northwest Hospital, Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital, Harris Methodist Walls Regional Hospital, Presbyterian Hospital of Allen, Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and Presbyterian Hospital of Plano.
The “Great 100 Nurses” will be honored by the Texas Nurses Association, Districts 3 and 4, and the Dallas-Fort Worth Nurse Executives at the 16th annual gala May 15 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas.
