HMFW Appoints New Vice President of Finance 01/03/2008
FORT WORTH, Texas – Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital (HMFW) has named Lynn Gipson as the hospital's new vice president of finance. With more than 12 years of health care experience, Gipson previously served as the corporate finance director responsible for decision support at Texas Health Resources, HMFW's parent company.
In his new role, Gipson will be responsible for HMFW's Finance, Materials Management and Patient Access Services departments. He will also be responsible for leading HMFW's long-term and annual strategic, operating and financial planning activities.

Prior to coming to Texas Health Resources in 1998, Gipson served as the senior director of finance for the Baylor All Saints Health System in Fort Worth. He has also held senior financial leadership roles at Bank One of Texas in Dallas and First City of Texas in Austin. He began his professional career with Arthur Andersen & Co. as a staff consultant.
Gipson is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas. He received his master's degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University and his bachelor's degree in industrial management from Louisiana State University.
