Wound Care Center at PHW Wins National Award 05/16/2003 WINNSBORO, Texas – The Wound Care Center at Presbyterian Hospital of Winnsboro recently was named a mentor site by Curative Health Services – a recognition given to the top wound care centers in the United States. Curative Health Services, the leading disease management company in the field of chronic wound care, manages the Wound Care Center at Presbyterian Hospital of Winnsboro.
To receive the mentor designation, the Wound Care Center had to meet a number of strict criteria, including an 88 percent or higher rate of healing after completion of treatment and less than 45 days average to healing. As a mentor site, the Wound Care Center will provide training for physicians and staff from around the country new to the Wound Care Center model of care.
The Wound Care Center at Presbyterian Hospital of Winnsboro also recently received an award from Curative Health Services for Best Overall Teamwork in the company’s Southwest Region, which includes eight states.

The Wound Care Center at Presbyterian Hospital of Winnsboro provides care and education for patients with chronic non-healing wounds.
