HMFW Safety Manager Honored By His Peers 08/10/2006
FORT WORTH, Texas – Reggie Jackson, manager of security at Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital, was honored by his Texas Crime Prevention Association peers as an outstanding crime prevention manager in the small agency category at the Texas Crime Prevention Association Annual Banquet July 20.
Jackson implemented programs that have decreased crime on the hospital campus and in the neighboring area in his six years of service to Harris. The strong working relationship he has built with the Fort Worth Police Department has aided in his crime prevention initiatives.
An avid supporter of community safety, Jackson has played a key role in National Night Out, an annual summer effort to raise community awareness about crime and drug prevention, hosted by HMFW and Cook Children's Medical Center.
“Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital is honored to have such a community-minded individual serve our campus, patients and their families,” said Barclay E. Berdan, president of Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital, executive vice president of Texas Health Resources and Jackson's nominator. “Reggie's dynamic leadership has increased the morale of our security department and created strong relationships with local law enforcement partners that have made our campus and the medical district a stronger and safer place.”
