STEPHENVILLE, Texas – After an extensive national search and review of many qualified candidates, Deborah Paganelli, CHE, has been named the new president of Harris Methodist Erath County Hospital (HMEC).

Paganelli’s appointment at HMEC will begin April 5. She will succeed Ron Dorris, who is retiring.

"Paganelli is a seasoned executive who has held leadership positions in Texas hospitals located in Corpus Christi, Fort Worth and San Antonio," said Oscar Amparan, senior vice president of regional operations for Texas Health Resources. "The particular strengths in her background include operational and fiscal responsibility, physician relations and recruiting, the development of specialty clinics and strategic planning," Amparan continued.

Paganelli holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Texas Woman’s University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin.
