Norma Fortner, who was chairwoman for last year's ball, recently passed the torch of leading the event to Lee.

Lee is married to hospital pharmacy director Ron Lee. The event is set for Nov. 14.

“We’re thrilled that Bonnie has agreed to lead the Black Tie Ball as she brings a wealth of creativity and energy from her days as a schoolteacher,” said Patsy Youngs, Texas Health Kaufman president. “Norma did a fantastic job creating the event last year and I know Bonnie will make this year’s Nov. 14 event a great success.”
