Great 100 Nurses honors four from Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital

BEDFORD, Texas – Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital is proud to have four nurses named “2008 Great 100 Nurses,” more than any other hospital in Northeast Tarrant County. The list recognizes nurses who are role models and have made a significant difference in nursing, in their hospitals and in the lives of patients.

Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital has always known these exemplary nurses went above and beyond to care for their patients, showing kindness and compassion while helping them heal. “I am so proud of each nurse honored among the ‘Great 100,’” said Debbie Paganelli, president of Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital. “Our nurses are an example for all of us because of the hard work they do every single day and their dedication to the medical care and personal needs of each patient they serve. People like these inspire others around them to become nurses, for which we are truly grateful.”

Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital’s Great 100 Nurses include:

  • Grace Bosworth, R.N., Emergency Department
  • Karen Robertson, RNC, BSN, Labor & Delivery/Post Partum/Gyn Surgery
  • Karen Wright, R.N., Education
  • Susan Trumps R.N., BSN, CWS, Wound Care Clinic and Senior Clinic

The “Great 100 Nurses” will be honored by the Texas Nurses Association, Districts 3 and 4, and the Dallas-Fort Worth Nurse Executives at the 18th annual gala on Monday, May 12 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
