Texas Health Stephenville Hosts Women’s Health Event|
STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville will host its annual women’s health event on Thursday, Oct. 29.
The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at City Hall at City Limits, located at 1907 East Washington. The event will cost $10.
“We look forward to this annual event where we can share information on important health care topics with women from across Erath County and the surrounding communities,” said Julie Swink, senior marketing specialist for Texas Health Stephenville. “With October being recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it’s a great time to take a break and learn about important women’s health topics.”
Dr. Linda Heflin, a physician on the medical staff at Texas Health Stephenville, will speak about vitamin D deficiency and osteoporosis.
Dr. Nanette Evans, a physician on the hospital’s medical staff, will speak about breast health, risk factors and prevention tips.
There also will be a panel discussion lead by individuals from Texas Health Stephenville. Lunch will be provided.
