Radiology Department at Texas Health Cleburne Earns CT Scan Accreditation|
CLEBURNE, Texas — Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne’s radiology department has earned a three-year accreditation for CT scans in adults and pediatric patients. The accreditation comes after a recent survey from the American College of Radiology.
The three-year accreditation recognizes high practice standards in CT scans at Texas Health Cleburne. Board-certified physicians and medical physicists evaluate hospitals to ensure that facility equipment and personnel meet ACR standards.
“Being recognized by our peers for the outstanding work of our radiology department validates the work our staff does each day,” said Lee Lennington, director of radiology for Texas Health Cleburne.
CT scans are used to diagnose a variety of ailments including cancer, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, and trauma.
“Lee and our staff stay abreast of the latest trends and technology to bring high quality care to the patients of Cleburne and the surrounding areas,” said Blake Kretz, FACHE, hospital president.
