Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville Names Chief Quality Officer|
STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville has named Dr. Jeffrey Edwards its chief quality officer.

Edwards is a family physician on the medical staff at Texas Health Stephenville. He serves as vice chief of staff, chairman of the Physician Health & Wellness Committee, member of the Board of Trustees, and is a member of the Performance Improvement Committee at Texas Health Stephenville. He also serves on the Physician Leadership Council of Texas Health Resources.

Our health care providers work diligently every day and Dr. Edwards will be an important force in those efforts.”
Before coming to Stephenville in 2005, Edwards worked at St. Mary’s Hospital in Cottonwood, Idaho. During his tenure there he served two stints as chief of staff and was medical director of the cardiac rehabilitation program and home health and hospice program.
Locally, Edwards serves as medical director for Countryside Therapy Group in Stephenville, which provides rehabilitation services. He also is president of the Stephenville Medical & Surgical Clinic. In addition, he volunteers at Hope Medical Clinic. Last summer, Edwards went on a medical mission to North Belize with Church of Christ.
“Serving in this role is just another way that I can help provide high quality medical care to the residents of Erath County and the surrounding areas,” Edwards said. “I am eager to get started.”
Edwards also is on the board of directors of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.
