Texas Health Stephenville Women’s Event to Offer Tips on Multitasking|
STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Gather up your girlfriends and come dish about the challenges of juggling work and family and personal time at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville’s annual women’s event on Tuesday, Oct. 5.
Dr. Jean Paicurich
Sue Moore, MSN, RN-BC, of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, will be speaking about achieving a work and home life balance. Moore is a registered nurse who works full time and balances work with caring for her two children, two parents, two cats, two dogs and her spouse. Also, Drs. Nanette Evans, Shane Gilliam and Jean Paicurich will answer questions about how to stay healthy.
“Women too often put themselves at the bottom of their priority lists when juggling caring for their children and extended families and many times working as well,” said Paicurich, a physician on the medical staff of Texas Health Stephenville. “It’s crucial that women not neglect their own health needs. In order to effectively care for others, women must first take care of themselves.”
Events like this one and the monthly Mommy Mixers held at Texas Health Stephenville are designed to help women in the community build a support network. Texas Health Resources also offers a site on Facebook at Facebook.com/TexasHealthMoms for women to find others with similar interests as themselves.
“The women’s health event will not only let women hear from experts at Texas Health Stephenville, but also will enable women to mix and mingle and share tips with each other,” said Christopher Leu, hospital president. “We look forward to seeing women of all ages on Oct. 5.”
The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5 at City Hall at City Limits. The event costs $10 and registration is required. To register, please call 1-877-THR-WELL or visit TexasHealth.org/Stephenville.
