Occupational Health staff members include:

Availability of Necessary Staff
Screening Services: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Physicals: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Injury Care: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., after hours in the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth Emergency Department
Immunizations: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

After hours care is available 24 hours a day through the Emergency Department.


Meet the Team

Karen Mallett, Director

Karen Mallett
Director

Mallett serves as director for the Occupational Health Clinic, Therapy Services and the Fitness Center at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.

Prior to becoming director for the clinic and other therapy services, Mallett worked as a physical therapist, clinical educator and served as an assistant director at other health care facilities.

Mallett earned a bachelor's degree in health education from Texas A&M University, and a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston, Texas. She also holds an master's degree in business administration from LeTourneau University.

 


Dean Herrold, M.S., R.N.

Dean Herrold, M.S., R.N.
Clinic Manager

Herrold serves as manager for the Occupational Health Clinic. He oversees the daily operations of the clinic. He is a registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master of science in clinical practice management. He currently serves as a Captain in the United States Army Reserve.

Herrold has been with Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth for 10 years, and previously served as the manager of renal/transplant for five years.

 

 

 


Camille Crim, Clinic Manager

Camille Crim
Business Relations Specialist

Camille Crim is responsible for employer relations and community development for the Occupational Health Clinic.

Crim has a bachelor’s of business administration degree in marketing from Texas Christian University. Prior to her position with the Occupational Health Clinic, she worked in business operations, marketing and public relations at Texas Health.

 

 

 

 


Michael P. Seeley, M.D.

Michael P. Seeley, M.D.
Medical Director

Dr. Michael Seeley serves as the physician for the Occupational Health Clinic. He has more than 30 years experience treating patients with injuries and has been with the clinic since 1995.

Seeley graduated from Kansas State College of Pittsburg with a bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry. He went on to receive his medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. His family practice residency was completed at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School program in Wichita Falls.

Seeley is certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, American Association of Medical Review Officers, past Chief of Family Practice Division at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth and serves on its Industrial Rehabilitation Advisory Board. He is TWCC approved Designated Doctor/Impairment Rating certified, and a certified medical review officer by the American Association of Medical Review Officers.


Mary Sherwood, R.N., M.S.N., F.N.P.

Mary Sherwood, R.N., M.S.N., F.N.P.
Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Sherwood is a family nurse practitioner for the Occupational Health Clinic. She has 13 years experience as a nurse practitioner with most of her career in both occupational and family medicine. She is accomplished in medical management of injured workers,  performing Department of Transportation physical exams, firefighter and police exams, and OSHA respiratory exams. 

She also is experienced in advising international travelers and providing appropriate medication management and immunizations. Sherwood received her MSN and FNP at Texas Woman's University. She has worked more than 30 years in nursing.  

 

 

 


Sheila Davidson, R.N.

Sheila Davidson, R.N.
Case Manager

Davidson serves as the case manager for the Occupational Health Clinic. She works with insurance companies and employers to ensure appropriate follow up care for injury patients.

Davidson has been with Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth for 35 years, and previously worked in the emergency department.

 

 

 

 


Sarah Howorth, R.N.

Sarah Howorth, R.N.

Howorth is a nurse for the Occupational Health Clinic. She treats injury care patients and assists with case management. She has been a nurse for five years and also works in emergency medicine. 

Howorth has an associate’s of applied science in nursing degree, a bachelor's degree in psychology and is a licensed social worker.

 

 

 


Marissa Veanueva, P.C.T.

Marissa Veanueva, P.C.T.
Physicals and Drug Screen Coordinator

Veanueva serves as the physicals and drug screen coordinator and patient care technician. She coordinates results and follow up with companies, and cares for patients.

Veanueva has been with the clinic for more than five years and is currently pursuing an associate’s degree in occupational health and safety, and occupational health and environmental technology.

 

 

 


Abdul Sesay, P.C.T.

Abdul Sesay, P.C.T.

Sesay is a patient care technician in the Occupational Health Clinic.  He performs drug screens, breath alcohols, physicals, and audiograms.

Sesay came to the United States five years ago from West Africa. He earned an associate’s of applied science degree from Tarrant County College, and worked in a long-term care facility prior to his position with Texas Health Resources.

 

 

 


Julie Talbott, RN

Julie Talbott, R.N.

Talbott is a nurse for the Occupational Health Clinic. She treats patients in need of injury care and serves as the patient's case manager throughout treatment.

Talbott has an associate's of applied science in nursing degree. Prior to working in occupational health, Talbott worked in the fields of labor and delivery and family practice.

 

 

 

 


 

Ana Garcia, PCT, NCT

Ana Garcia, P.C.T., N.C.T.

Garcia is a patient care technician in the Occupational Health Clinic. She performs drug screens, breath alcohols, physicals, and audiograms. She also serves as back up for the radiology technician.

Garcia has worked in patient care in the medical/surgical, pediatric and orthopedic fields.

 

 

 

 


Linda Santay, Radiology Technologist/PCT

Radiology Technologist/P.C.T.

Santay is the radiology technologist for the Occupational Health Clinic. She performs X-rays and cares for patients.

She has been with Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth for 16 years and has an associate's of applied science degree in radiologic technology.

 

 

 

 


Vickie Howe, Adminstrative Assistant

Vickie Howe
Administrative Assistant/X-Ray Technician

Howe coordinates the daily operations of the Occupational Health Clinic including patient registration, medical record requests, patient charting, and other administrative duties.

Howe has been with Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth for 16 years, 14 of which have been with the Occupational Health Clinic.

Wolfe coordinates the daily operations of the Occupational Health Clinic including patient registration, medical record requests, patient charting, and other administrative duties.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Amber Hartwell, Administrative Assistant

Amber Hartwell
Administrative Assistant

Hartwell is an administrative assistant for the Occupational Health Clinic. She is responsible for billing and accounting processes and serves as back up for patient registration.

Hartwell has worked in the medical business operations field for more than 10 years.
