8. We promised to build a full-service hospital for Arlington, so the community would not have to travel to Fort Worth or Dallas. The new Emergency Department (ED) and clinics keep that promise to our community.

6. Our community believes Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital must expand the ED and improve emergency services. Our community is involved in planning and conducting the campaign for the new ED and the clinics.

3. The ED is the hospital's front door. More than one third of ED patients require life-saving care; 50 percent of ED patients are admitted to the hospital as inpatients.
