An article on D Healthcare Daily featured Texas Institute for Surgery (TIS) at Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas as the first healthcare organization in Texas and the first surgical facility in the U.S. to implement a new electronic hand hygiene monitoring technology aimed at reducing healthcare-acquired infections using the DebMed GMS (Group Monitoring System). Allison Liddell, M.D., Chief of the Department of Infection Diseases at Texas Health Resources Presbyterian Dallas, and a physician on the medical staff of TIS, was quoted.
