The Dallas Business Journal reported that Texas Health Resources was named a finalist in the technology adopter division of the 2012 Tech Titans Awards, sponsored by the Metroplex Technology Business Council. Texas Health was recognized for using technology to help prevent catheter-associated urinary tract infection. Texas Health CEO Doug Hawthorne was quoted.

We anticipate that local TV stations will run a story on the first baby born at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth on Labor Day. The baby was wearing the hospital’s “Labor of Love” onesie. The arrival was covered by KDFW-TV (Ch. 4), KXAS-TV (Ch. 5), WFAA-TV (Ch. 8), KTVT-TV (Ch. 11) and KDAF-TV (Ch. 33).
